CSA congratulates the 2002-2003 Casting Emmy Winners, announced Saturday, September 13, at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony, a precursor to the televised ceremony airing on Fox, Sunday, September 21, 2003.
Two CSA members won statuettes for their outstanding contributions to the field of casting. This is Junie and Libby's second win for Six Feet Under, having also won last year. John Papsidera, CSA won the Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special for HBO's Live from Baghdad. This was John's second nomination, and his first win. In the Comedy Series category, Jennifer McNamara, the only non CSA member nominated in that category, won the statuette for her work on HBO's Sex and the City. Jennifer also won for Sex and the City at last year's ceremony. Earlier this year, Judy Blye Wilson, CSA, won the Emmy for Casting for a Daytime Drama Series for her work on All My Children. This was also Judy's second consecutive win, having won the very first award in that new category last year.
