Artios Award Criteria

Who is eligible for the award, and who votes?

The Artios Awards® are presented yearly for Outstanding Achievement in Casting. The criteria are originality, creativity and the contribution of casting to the overall quality of a project.

Nominees and Winners are voted on by members in good standing of the Casting Society of America.

The Artios is awarded to CSA members who receive PRIMARY screen (or program) credit for casting.

CSA Members who receive Location Casting or Specific City Casting credit for winning projects also receive an Artios Award®.

Casting Executives and Department Heads who are CSA members and who receive credit in that capacity also receive a crystal Artios Award® for winning projects.
